Please read these terms carefully. By submitting your project plans or using any of our estimating services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Blueprint Estimation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, submitting project plans, or otherwise using our construction estimating services, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you are submitting a project on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Blueprint Estimation provides professional construction cost estimating and material takeoff services, including but not limited to:
We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion, including projects that are outside our scope of expertise or that involve incomplete or unreadable plans.

To get started, you must submit your project drawings, plans, or specifications through our contact form or by emailing them directly to us. We accept the following formats:
Your responsibility: You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date drawings. We are not liable for errors in estimates caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated plans submitted by the client.
After reviewing your submission, we will send you a quote. Work begins only after the quote is accepted and payment is received (or a payment arrangement is confirmed).

We deliver most estimates within 24 to 48 hours of receiving complete project documents and confirmed payment. Turnaround times may vary depending on:
Rush delivery (same-day or next-day) is available for certain project types and may be subject to an additional fee. Rush availability is confirmed at the time of quoting.
Turnaround time begins when we have received both complete drawings and confirmed payment. Delays in providing documents or payment will delay delivery accordingly.
Bid deadlines: If you have a hard bid deadline, please notify us at the time of submission. We will do our best to accommodate your timeline and will inform you promptly if we cannot meet it.

Pricing is based on the scope, complexity, and trade type of each project. We provide a fixed quote before any work begins — there are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
Payment terms:
Invoices that remain unpaid for more than 30 days after the due date may result in suspension of services and may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

We stand behind the quality of our work. Our revision policy is as follows:
When you provide updated drawings or revised specifications after the estimate is delivered, the additional cost to revise the estimate will be quoted before work begins on the update.

Our estimates are prepared by certified estimators using industry-standard software and pricing databases (including RSMeans, Planswift, Bluebeam, FastPIPE, and FastDUCT). We maintain a 92% bid-hit ratio based on historical performance.

Our estimates are tools to help you bid more confidently — they are not guarantees of final construction costs. Blueprint Estimation is not responsible for any financial losses resulting from reliance on our estimates.

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the deliverables we produce for your project, including the estimate spreadsheets, takeoff documents, and marked-up plans.
We retain the right to:
You may not resell our deliverables as your own estimating service to third parties without our written permission.

We treat all project information you share with us as confidential. We do not share your drawings, project details, pricing, or business information with any third party except as required to complete your estimate (e.g., when consulting a specialist subcontractor database).
We will never share your project details with your competitors or any other party for commercial purposes. If you require a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before submitting your project, please contact us and we will accommodate your request.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blueprint Estimation's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific estimate that is the subject of the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost bids, lost contracts, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of the claim (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise).

Cancellation and refund terms depend on the stage of work:
To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at the email address listed below. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of approval.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of our services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
